About the Firm
Led by Tara-Jane Torrisi
Torrisi Legal is led by Tara-Jane Torrisi, the firm’s Principal Solicitor and founder. Born and raised in Western Australia, Tara-Jane has built her legal career assisting individuals and families through a wide range of legal matters.
Her practice specilises in separation, divorce parenting arrangements, estate planning and probate — areas that often arise during some of the most significant moments in a person’s life.
Tara-Jane believes that the right legal guidance can help individuals understand their options and move forward with confidence.
Experience and Qualifications
Tara-Jane has built her legal career working across community legal services and specialist legal practices throughout Western Australia and New South Wales.
Before establishing Torrisi Legal, she held solicitor and leadership roles with organisations including Regional Alliance West, Wheatbelt Community Legal Centre, Pilbara Community Legal Service, Western NSW Community Legal Centre, and the Aboriginal Family Law Service.
Her work has involved advising and representing clients across multiple jurisdictions, often assisting vulnerable clients facing complex family law and civil matters.
Tara-Jane has extensive experience in parenting disputes, property matters, domestic and family violence proceedings, and estate planning.
